Terms of Use

Version: 1.0, effective from 7 November 2026.

Who provides the service

By using the platform, you agree to these terms and enter into a contract with ExSol DOO.

The Course Supporter platform is provided by ExSol DOO, Montenegro. In these terms, “we” means ExSol DOO, and “you” means the person who uses the platform.

Company details: ExSol DOO, registration number 5-1011266/002, tax number 03411494, registered address: Sjepa Šarenca bb, Herceg Novi, Montenegro.

The service

Course Supporter is a platform for course authors and students. It includes the pythoncourse.me website, the author app and the student portal. For now, the author app and the student portal are available in Ukrainian only.

Authors create courses on the platform and upload materials: video, audio, documents and code. The platform processes the materials automatically and prepares the course for reviewing students’ work.

Students join a course through a link from its author and submit homework in the student portal. Mentor, an automated reviewer, checks the work and gives a review that explains the grade. Mentor is a program, not a person.

Two automated services are charged for:

  • homework review: students pay for the review of their own work;
  • course material processing: authors pay for processing their own course materials.

Both services are paid for from the same prepaid packages (see “Packages, units and deductions”).

The platform does not sell courses and does not charge for access to them. The author decides whether a course is open or closed. Any arrangements between an author and students about access to a course are made outside the platform, and we are not a party to them. Authors do not sell anything through the platform and receive no payments through it.

Account and access

The platform is used by course authors and students, and you need an account to use it. A student gets access to a course through a link from the course’s author.

The minimum age for using the platform is 18.

Give correct information when you register and update it if it changes. You are responsible for your account and for what is done in it. Keep your sign-in details safe, do not share your account with other people, and tell us at support@pythoncourse.me straight away if someone has used it without your permission.

Materials and work

Authors are responsible for their course materials and for who they give access to. By uploading materials, an author confirms that they hold the rights to them or the right holder’s permission to use them in this way.

You keep the rights to your materials and your work. You allow us to process them, including through our processing providers, only to provide the service.

Reviews and grades produced by Mentor are kept after a student’s work is deleted. They are a product of the platform’s work and may contain fragments of the work itself.

The author of a course can see the work submitted to that course and the reviews of it.

You must not upload or submit:

  • illegal content, including content that infringes copyright or other rights;
  • harmful content, including malicious code;
  • images, video or voice recordings of people without their consent;
  • deepfakes: generated or altered images, video or voice recordings that pass off invented words or actions as those of a real person.

We may refuse to process such content or remove it, and suspend access for violations (see “Suspension and termination of access”).

Packages, units and deductions

An operation is a review of a piece of work or the processing of materials.

  1. Volume is measured in units. A unit is not money but an amount of prepaid work by the platform. A package contains a certain number of units. Units are sold only in packages and cannot be bought separately. Units are valid only for the platform’s two services, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be exchanged for money.
  2. A package is valid for six months from the date of purchase. After that, whatever remains unused does not carry over. Units are deducted first from the package that expires earliest. If a package expires while some of its units are held in reserve, the reserve stays in place until the operation finishes. If you have several valid packages, the remaining units and the available part are determined across all of them together.
  3. Before an operation starts, the platform shows its estimated cost: an estimate with a small margin. The operation can start if the available part is at least the estimated cost. The available part is what remains in the package minus the reserves of other operations. The cost is determined in whole units.
  4. While the operation runs, part of what remains is held in reserve: twice the estimated cost or the whole available part, whichever is less.
  5. When the operation finishes, its actual cost is deducted, and the rest of the reserve returns to the package.
  6. If the actual cost exceeds the reserve but the available part is enough, the actual cost is deducted: part from the reserve and the rest from what remains in the package.
  7. If the actual cost exceeds the reserve and the available part together, you still receive the review or the processing result, and the difference — the part of the cost that was not covered — is applied first when you next buy a package. You agree to this in advance: by accepting these terms and in the confirmation at your first purchase of a package. The platform tells you about the difference but does not ask for separate consent each time. A difference that has not been applied within six months from the day it arose is written off as a platform expense, unless the agreement provides otherwise.
  8. If the operation fails, the whole reserve is released and nothing is deducted.
  9. If the review of a piece of work is stopped after it has started (the work is unrelated to the assignment, a security check rejected it, or, once this option exists, the student withdrew it), the cost of the steps already completed is deducted and the rest of the reserve returns to the package. The student sees the real reason for stopping, how many units were deducted and how many returned to the package.
  10. If the exact cost of an individual action cannot be determined, the calculated cost of that action is deducted; the cost breakdown marks it as calculated.
  11. Tests are checked without deducting units as long as the student has something remaining in a package (reserved units count too). A student with nothing remaining in a package, including a student with an unsettled difference, cannot submit a test.
  12. The same rules (points 1–10) apply to authors. The author’s cost breakdown shows “preparing a task for review” as a separate item: the platform does this once for each assignment before its first review, and it is not part of the cost of a student’s review. If an author does not have enough units, this does not stop the review of a student’s work. Reprocessing initiated by the platform (for example, after its software is updated) is paid for by the platform.

Payment

Payments for packages are accepted by Paddle.com Market Limited (for buyers in the United States, Paddle.com Inc.) as Merchant of Record. This means that Paddle is the seller in the payment transaction: it processes the payment, issues the receipt and makes refunds. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

Package prices are listed on the Pricing page. Taxes are calculated and paid by Paddle according to the buyer’s country. Refunds are described on the Refunds page.

Reviews and limitation of liability

Reviews are produced by Mentor, a program, not a person. A review assesses a specific piece of work, not the person, and is not a decision about them: it is not a selection, an admission or a ranking of people. A review may be wrong. If you disagree with a review, write to support@pythoncourse.me.

The service is provided “as is”: we do not promise any particular result or grade.

Limit of liability: Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for packages in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. A claim can be made within 12 months of the day you learned of the event. This limit does not apply to harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to harm to life or health.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law does not allow you to give up.

Suspension and termination of access

We may suspend or end your access to the platform if:

  • you have materially breached these terms;
  • there is fraud or a risk of fraud;
  • the payment for a package has not been received or has later been reversed;
  • you breach these terms repeatedly.

If you disagree with such a decision, write to support@pythoncourse.me.

You may stop using the platform at any time. To delete your account, write to support@pythoncourse.me. What remains in your packages is not exchanged for money (point 1 of “Packages, units and deductions”); a refund of a payment is possible under the rules on the Refunds page.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when the services, payment rules or legal requirements change. We publish each new version on this page with its effective date and tell you about material changes in advance. If you do not agree with a new version, you may stop using the platform. If you use the platform after a new version takes effect, this means that you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Montenegro. Disputes are heard by the competent court in Montenegro at the seat of ExSol DOO. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live; nothing in these terms removes it. Before going to court, write to us at support@pythoncourse.me: we will try to resolve the matter.
