Pricing
Course Supporter charges for two automated services: homework review and course material processing. Both are paid for with prepaid packages, and one package covers both services. Students pay for the review of their own work; authors pay for processing their course materials. The platform does not sell access to courses.

About 100 units.
The cost depends on the size and complexity of the work.

The cost depends on the volume and type of the materials.
What a review is
A student submits homework in the student portal. Mentor checks it and gives a review that explains the grade.
Mentor is a software reviewer, not a person. A review assesses the specific piece of work, not the person.
Students pay for the review of their own work.
What material processing is
Material processing prepares a course for reviewing students’ work. The author uploads course materials: video, audio, documents and code. The platform processes them automatically: it transcribes speech in video and audio, parses documents and code, identifies the course’s key concepts and prepares section descriptions.
Before the first review, the platform prepares each assignment for review once. In the author’s cost breakdown, “preparing a task for review” is a separate item, and it is not part of the cost of a student’s review.
Authors pay for processing their own course materials.
How the cost is determined
Costs are measured in units: a unit is not money but an amount of prepaid work by the platform. An operation is either a review of a piece of work or the processing of materials.
- Units are sold only in packages and cannot be bought separately. They are valid only for the platform’s two services, cannot be transferred to another account and cannot be exchanged for money.
- A package is valid for six months from the date of purchase; after that, whatever remains unused does not carry over. Units are deducted first from the package that expires earliest. If a package expires during an operation, the reserve stays in place until the operation finishes.
- Before an operation starts, the platform shows its estimated cost: an estimate with a small margin. You can start the operation if the available part (what remains in the package minus the reserves of other operations) is at least this estimate. The cost is determined in whole units.
- While the operation runs, the platform reserves twice the estimate or the whole available part, whichever is less.
- When the operation finishes, its actual cost is deducted, and the rest of the reserve returns to the package.
- If the actual cost is more than the reserve but the available part is enough, part is deducted from the reserve and the rest from what remains in the package.
- If the actual cost is more than the reserve and the available part together, you still receive the review or the processing result, and the difference — the part of the cost that was not covered — is applied first when you next buy a package. You agree to this in advance: in the Terms of Use and in the confirmation at your first purchase. The platform tells you about the difference and does not ask for separate consent each time. A difference not applied within six months from the day it arose is written off as a platform expense, unless the agreement provides otherwise.
- If the operation fails, the whole reserve is released and nothing is deducted.
- If the review of a piece of work is stopped after it has started (the work is unrelated to the assignment, a security check rejected it, or, once this option exists, the student withdrew it), the cost of the steps already completed is deducted and the rest of the reserve returns to the package. The student sees the real reason for stopping, how much was deducted and how much returned to the package.
- If the exact cost of an individual action cannot be determined, its calculated cost is deducted and marked as calculated in the cost breakdown.
- Tests are checked without deducting units as long as the student has something remaining in a package (reserved units count too). Without anything remaining in a package, including with an unsettled difference, a test cannot be submitted.
The rules are the same for authors. If an author does not have enough units, the review of students’ work does not stop. Reprocessing initiated by the platform, for example after its software is updated, is paid for by the platform.
Payment
Payments are accepted by Paddle as Merchant of Record: Paddle is the seller in the payment transaction, processes the payment and issues the receipt. Taxes are calculated and paid by Paddle according to the buyer’s country. For details, see the Terms of Use.
Package prices are in euros. Whether they include taxes depends on the buyer’s country; Paddle shows the final amount before payment.
